Method to Get Your Webcam Setting Back If They are Greyed Out:
1. Update drivers:
The user should tap on the Windows + X keys at the same time and then choose Device Manager. After this, you should expand the Camera or Imaging Device and then search for the Camera driver. At this point, you need to right-tap and then choose Update option. At the end, the user should choose the option of Search automatically for drivers.
2. Downgrade webcam drivers:
To start, you should search for your webcam’s model and also the brand on Google or the user can go to the product page for your webcam on the website of manufacturer. After this, you should download the previous driver version. Now, you should tap on Windows + X keys at the same time and then select Device Manager. Here, you need to expand the Camera or Imaging Device and then right-tap on the Camera driver and then choose Update option. At this point, you should choose Browse my computer for driver option. 3. Reinstall drivers:
